Ann Davis-Perkins is a librarian/media specialist with Grier Middle School, Gaston County Schools. She has worked as a librarian for the past 9 years, and taught 11 years as a classroom teacher. Prior to becoming a librarian/media specialist, she was privileged to spend 28 days in Munich Germany working with the White Raven's Festival at the International Youth Library. There she had an opportunity to shadow well know authors such as Jenny Valentine and Bernard Beck as they visited public schools in Munich. Ann is an administrator/organizer who enjoys teaching, planning, and implementing programs that will promote a greater love for reading.
