Ms. Pamela Bingham has demonstrated valued project management with almost 25 years of work supporting education, governments, and corporate and nonprofit sectors. She is an environmental/industrial engineer and community leader committed to food security, environmental sustainability, community-based leadership and the diversification of science and engineering. Ms. Bingham has written and implemented grants that encompass STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math), and community engagement. Ms. Bingham’s leadership roles include serving on the national Engineers Forum on Sustainability, Technical Director for the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) Environmental Engineering Special Interest Group, Project Director, Virginia State University (Petersburg, VA) Harding Street Urban Agricultural Center and GLOBE program (Tennessee State University). She was formerly Outreach Coordinator for the Virginia Commonwealth University/Pathways Wellness Engagement Project in Petersburg, VA. She has been in libraries since the womb because her mother is a former high school librarian and a retired Associate Professor with a PhD in Library and Information Sciences.
