Tonya Bolden is a critically acclaimed award-winning author/co-author/editor of more than two dozen books for young readers including the forthcoming Crossing Ebenezer Creek, publishing with Bloomsbury in Spring 2017. Her books include How to Build a Museum, the story of the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History. Finding Family, which received two starred reviews and was a Kirkus Reviews and Bank Street Book of the Year; Maritcha: A Nineteenth-Century American Girl. Her most recent title is Pathfinders: The Journeys of 16 Extraordinary Black Souls.
